<div><b>Required Number: 3</b></div><div><b>Location: Maharajgunj (1) and Lalitpur (2)</b></div><div><b>Qualification: +12/CMLT with NHPC Registered </b></div><div><b>Experience: At least 1-2 years in related field</b></div><div><div><b>Job Description</b></div><div>1. <b>Blood Collection:</b></div><div><ul><li>Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques to collect blood samples.</li><li>Ensure patient identification and labeling of samples to avoid errors.</li><li>Handle and transport specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols.</li></ul></div><div>2.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span><b>Patient Interaction:</b></div><div><ul><li>Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.</li><li>Record patient information and medical history, if required, prior to collection.</li><li>Assist in preparing patients for blood collection by identifying veins and choosing appropriate collection sites.</li></ul></div><div>3.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span><b>Sample Handling:</b></div><div><ul><li>Properly store, label, and prepare blood samples for transport to the laboratory.</li><li>Ensure samples are correctly labeled and free from contamination or degradation.</li></ul></div><div>4.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span><b>Safety & Compliance:</b></div><div><ul><li>Adhere to all safety procedures, including infection control protocols, and use of protective gear (gloves, face shields, etc.).</li><li>Maintain sterile conditions and ensure all equipment is sanitized and disposed of correctly.</li><li>Comply with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations governing blood collection.</li></ul></div><div>5.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span><b>Administrative Duties:</b></div><div><ul><li>Record and enter patient and sample information into laboratory information systems (LIS) or electronic medical records (EMR).</li><li>Maintain accurate records of blood collections and report discrepancies.</li><li>Monitor and manage stock of phlebotomy supplies.</li></ul></div><div>6.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span><b>Quality Assurance:</b></div><div><ul><li>Ensure high-quality service by following lab protocols, minimizing errors, and ensuring patient comfort.</li><li>Report any issues with equipment or patient reactions to supervisors.</li><li>Participate in regular training and certification programs to stay current with phlebotomy standards.</li></ul></div><div>Interested candidates may send their application at <span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="mailto:careers@nationalpathlabs.com" style="font-weight: bold;">careers@nationalpathlabs.com</a><b> </b>along with their updated CV.</span></div></div>
