Laboratory Operations Management</b></div><div><ul><li>Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of diagnostic results across:</li><li>Biochemistry: Supervise routine and advanced biochemical testing and interpretation.</li></ul></div><div><b>Hematology: </b></div><div>1. Supervise routine hematology associated tests including CBC, coagulation profile, comb test etc and direct involvement in reporting PBS and reticulocyte count. </div><div>2. Closely work with onco(senior) pathologist when seen any suspicion of malignancy on the tests. </div><div>3. Perform and analyze flow cytometry for hematological malignancies, including immunophenotyping.</div><div><ul><li>Immunology: Ensure the quality and accuracy of immunoassays.</li><li>Immunopathology: </li></ul></div><div>1. Analyze and report tests related to IFA</div><div>2. Analyze and report tests related to Immunoblot and EIA based assays. </div><div>3. Clinical Pathology: Oversee urine analysis, body fluid analysis, and other routine clinical pathology investigations.</div><div><ul><li>Act as an general pathologist in his/her absence, handling responsibilities such as histopathology reporting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) analysis, and molecular pathology consultations.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><b>2. Quality Assurance and Compliance</b></div><div><ul><li>Implement, monitor, and review quality control (QC) measures for all laboratory sections to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO 15189 and other applicable standards by:</li><li>Preparing for and participating in audits and inspections.</li><li>Regularly updating laboratory processes and documentation.</li><li>Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address deficiencies.</li><li>Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across the laboratory.</li></ul></div><div><b>3. Staff Training and Development</b></div><div><ul><li>Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory staff to ensure adherence to protocols and enhance technical skills.</li><li>Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.</li><li>Organize training programs and workshops to keep staff updated on the latest techniques, equipment, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><b>4. Communication and Collaboration</b></div><div><ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for referring physicians, ensuring timely and clear communication regarding test results, diagnostic interpretations, and additional test recommendations.</li><li>Collaborate with clinicians to provide diagnostic insights and clinical correlations for patient management.</li><li>Work closely with the administrative team to manage resources efficiently, address operational challenges, and improve service delivery.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><b>5. Leadership and Decision-Making</b></div><div><ul><li>Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all operational and diagnostic goals are met.</li><li>Make strategic decisions to optimize workflow, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall efficiency.</li><li>Address and resolve any issues related to staffing, equipment, or workflow in a timely manner.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><b>6. Equipment and Resource Management</b></div><div><ul><li>Oversee the procurement, installation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.</li><li>Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including reagents, consumables, and personnel.</li><li>Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the engineering and technical teams.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><b>7. Reporting and Documentation</b></div><div><ul><li>Ensure that all reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with laboratory standards.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive records of QC data, audits, operational metrics, and staff training.</li><li>Prepare and present reports on laboratory performance and improvements to the management team.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div><b>8.
